Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

Here you will find out all about our class and all the exciting things that we will be getting up to this year. Our class teacher is Mrs Goodwin and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Walton. Mrs Oldham will also spend some time in our class along with a specialist sports coach and special music teacher Mrs Hind.

Homework is set weekly on a Monday and consists of spelling and maths activities.

Reading Books should be kept and read at least 3 times before returning to be changed to ensure your child is as fluent as possible. Any home reading should be logged in your child's reading record.

PE takes place twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child arrives to school wearing their full PE kit on these days. No earrings should be worn on these days.
